Anyone have a clue as to why this would be labeled “rare”?

It's a Taiwanese arcade board from 1985? I'm pretty sure it can be considered at least uncommon (mind you, that doesn't mean it's sought after).

The scrolling reminds me a bit of space harrier, which was 85 too iirc, looks interesting.

Now if that label had said "grail" you might have been onto something ... Klovs " very rare " really isn't a huge indicator of much either tbh.

It has some harness made/attached to it but it’s not jamma

VAPS is heavily skewed towards American made arcade games from the 80's. Everything else is uncommon.
