Anyone ever hacked a X360 Horipad EX turbo?
I have an extra horipad lying around and the need for a arcade stick for SF4. how hard or easy will it be to hack the pad to connect to some controls and does anyone know a guide of some sort?
The screws used to seal up this cart are wood screws. Nobody is going to waste good wood screws on a bootleg, they'd just use cheap electronic screws instead.

If it's common ground, then should be a piece of the proverbial.
If it's not, then it's still a reasonably easy job, just means twice as many wires

Well you need to scrape the plastic coat on it and the green liner,
then the solder will take use a small flat head screwdriver

What I do is scrape away until you see the copper track underneath, then heat up the pad & add some solder to "tin" it.maxio098ui wrote:i took the green crap off with a scape thingy. now i'm stupid i must of scraped too far cause the buttons cant short anymore. i'm a tiring mofo
Then tin your wire.
Then put the tinned wire on the tinned pad & apply heat.
Bingo!
