Hi everybody,
I finally got me a Namco IO board to connect Jamma games to my New Net City.
That works so far, but I cant get Button 5 from my AW mobo to work.
The Atomiswave gets Button 5 through Jamma and I have 6 buttons wired in the NNC panel. As far as I understand (still a noob and te NNC is new) the NNC has a built in kick harness which of course wont recognize button 5 from Jamma. Dunno why it supports button 4 though.
Could anybody help me out and tell me how to get the button working?
Thanks!

I know this is no help but the Konami I/O works here, which suggests the cab should support it and you only need to modify the Namco I/O board.

Re: Atomiswave Button 5 with IO board in NNC
Ok, thanks. I think it will work with the namco board as well somehow. Some people seem to have had the same problem and fixed it somehow.
The io board has a kickharness connecotr for buttons 4-6, is it possible to get it from there? Since the aw has button 5 on the jamma connnector I am not sure.
Any other ideas?

The Namco I/O support 4 buttons via the Jamma.
For button 5 you would need to wire it from the I/O's kick harness connector (pin 6) to the Jamma connector (pin 26)
