pandora box 4 no picture?

hi

any one tried hooking up a pandora box 4 on to sega jvs cab?


im getting no picture but sound there


toshiba try sync monitor
using river service jamma adapter

any ideas?

Does it work in a different cab? In other words, are you sure the PB4 isn't faulty?

Yes it's connected to the vga port of the pb4
Pb4 working fine on other lcd and 15khz Jamma cga screen

Just no joy on toshiba monitor ,no signal

Can hear sound

New net city cab

it did work ok via the jamma connector which was plugged into a FrancoB adapter cable > Vga

this is to do with the sync,wei ya 3129 won't run on vga with these either---i expect

Yes, Franco made some excellent cable looms that converted a JVS NNC to Jamma, No circuit boards or Lag just pure, even has a -5V option via Negatron
I think River Service also made a similar loom, the VGA cable from the NNC plugs into the loom via a VGA to RGB connector and the monitor works in 15k mode via the Jamma output

well, it sort of defeats the whole purpose of the pandora box 4 if you need to put extra effort for the picture to show. Does the monitor remote board allow you to toggle the polarity of the sync?
