Or you can PM FrancoB which will make you a perfect cable for your cab.
He is THE man for cable needs, I value highly his service.

I stopped offering wiring a few months ago I'm afraid.
That adapter would work with their superguns or a cabinet that has all six buttons wired to the JAMMA edge (i.e hardly any). What cab do you have?Atomix wrote:I would like to use a cps2 game with a jamma cabinet..

Assuming you already have the 1 & 2P extra button looms under the CP wired to all 6 buttons then you need a CPS2>NAC loom as per the first 3 paragraphs of FrancoB's post here:
http://forum.killercabs.com/viewtopic.php?t=25114
It's the loom in the bag on the right here:

What do you recommended ?

No, that adapter wouldn't work unless all 6 buttons were wired directly to the JAMMA edge. Unless they've been tampered with the extra buttons in an NAC are wired to a separate 10 pin AMP UP connector in to which you plug the kick harness loom. All you have to do is plug one end of the kick harness into the AMP UP connector and the other in to the port in the CPS2 A board.

Re: Cps2 / kick harness ? Is it ok ?
Yeah it does take up a lot of time. Not only the actual work but al the support PMs/emails etc that go with it. I changed jobs last year and my free time has gone down by about 15hrs a week and I simply don't have time to help out as much as before
You have two options:
a) make/get hold of a 10 pin AMP UP > CPS2/3 connector like the one shown above (assuming your kick buttons are wired to the 10 pin AMP UP connector under the CP)
b) buy a generic CPS2 kick harness and add 2.8mm terminals to the wires and fit it directly to your kick buttons.
Option a) is definitely the better option in my book if you can get/make one.
Edit: Ninja'd by crunchers
That won't work as it's designed for a supergun with all six buttons connected to the JAMMA edge. Your Astro isn't wired like that.Atomix wrote:Yes

Re: Cps2 / kick harness ? Is it ok ?
Ideally he'd need one connecting to his 10 pin AMP UP connector, so it's different to the one in the link, or was that meant as an example?

Re: Cps2 / kick harness ? Is it ok ?
No it wasn't meant as an example. It's entirely possible to connect this as well as an AMP up one, but if it's an AMP one you are after then I don't do those currently.Sp33dFr34k wrote:Ideally he'd need one connecting to his 10 pin AMP UP connector, so it's different to the one in the link, or was that meant as an example?
