The PAL looks a bit suspect and the C board may not be original. Other than that it looks like a de suicided legit board.

(Roms where exchanged, from US to JP ones.)

The PCB is an Irem M92 - In The Hunt.

I got a question about the daughterboard, is this a bootleg or not? Mainboard has a serial sticker with In The Hunt.

When I google for an In the Hunt PCB I mostly see the short version of the daughterboard. Other M92 games seem to use the long version. Theres also a mid sized version of this daughterboard.

Those red labels with white embossed text comes from a Swedish operator Adon who's still in business. They used to run only original boards.
Of course, there's no guarantee someone just moved the label onto the board.

You are probably right, this board was shipped from Sweden to me :D

Didn't really thought it was a bootlet, whenever I looked up the board I just found this daughterboard for in the hunt. Also it shipped with original roms (or some totally look alike original roms). With this post here I just got the final confirmation that it's not a bootleg. Hopefully this will be higher up at google now, there's only one other forum where they are unsure and at the end just call it bootleg.

I've been seeing these "Ikaruga GD-ROM board"s turn up periodically on ebay. Now, with all the missing silkscreens, nothing makes me think that this is anything but a bootleg. On the other hand, implementing the SCSI interface on an ASIC, then using either a second ASIC or an FPGA to read a simple flash chip, is an insanely complex way to pirate. The case also seems very professional. It seems to even still requires a key chip. If this is a bootleg, these people could make a lot more money going legit.

Then again, needlessly complex. Just like something SEGA would pull.

It's definitely bootleg.

But yeah, it is surprisingly well done for one.
