Hi, I would like
system11
input on this since this is the 3rd or fourth pcb I come across and all of them look the same and I need to salvage this cabinet (among x20+ others) ASAP, is this an original board?

just in case, the game is Slap Fight.

Looks original to me.

I don't think any of the boards had Taito etched on them, just stickers.

Looking at a Splatter House PCB and the seller was unsure of a few things. Could this possibly have had some repair work done on it or be a conversion? Also is it an American or Japanese PCB? Anyone? Thanks!

181 proper game key, SH OTPs and eproms labels are there, it is a legitimate Splatterhouse Namco System 1 board set.

I'm looking to buy this Metal Black PCB, but there's a capacitor missing from the bottom right hand corner in this pic. I checked other photos of Metal Black PCBs online and there is definitely usually a capacitor there.

The seller says the board works, but I was wondering if anyone knows what that's for and would I ultimately need to repair this board and replace the cap.

Will work without it, this caps are mainly for helping 5V stability and smoothing.

Cool that the ST-V wiki is useful :D If anyone wants to contribute gimme a howl and I'll fix access. Sadly I had to close account creations due to massive amounts of spam :problem:
