That is what I thought :awe:

I recently got a Blue Hyper SF2, I read that there were in fact official releases. Mine has been phoenixed but it doesn't look like my other boards so just wanted to double check its authenticity:

As Richy says it's clearly a boot/conversion. Anyone that tells you otherwise is mistaken.

Has anyone ever heard of / seen bootlegged atomiswave cart ?
can't take pics right now, just got the parcel during lunch break, then went back to work. The stickers look fake (not rounded corner, not cut correctly on some edges...)

Could just be a replacement label, the originals peel quite easily... whats the game?

forgot to say, but all game seem to work just as expected.
did not bother to take a pic of the other side of both sam sho and hnk since there's no chip. only the connector.

I've contacted smitdogg on mameworld and he told me :
"I have been talking to CaH4e3 about these and he thinks they were actually some sort of dev carts to begin with and he thinks they might be undumped versions."

nope, but i've spent a few hours playing each game cart. Sam sho has graphical background issues at the white house level, and the FIGHT logo everytime.
Hnk show horizontal lines when raoh shows up when game over. But i've checked with an original game (two cab lined up), and that's normal, so hnk looks OK so far.
Maybe more, as I'm not a great player and didn't go very far in each game.
I'm trying to send them back and get a refund. :palm:

I'm trying to learn more about identifying CPS2 guts, so I'm posting up a picture of my Rockman 2: The Power Fighters board;
CPS2_-_Rockman_2-_The_Power_Fighters.png
Is it an original? (By the by, the Capcom labels in there do have "RM2J" printed on them, it's just that they're VERY faint.)

Afternoon guys, I recently got a KOF2002 Green MVS Cart. The boards inside look ok to me, but the case is made out of a different plastic to other MVS carts I have and doesn't have the warning sticker on the side. What's the verdict on this one?

Looks original from that picture, but would need a high res pic of the boards face on to be able to give you a 100% firm answer.

See here http://www.mvs-scans.com/index.php/King ... hters_2002 - looks the same as yours to me.
