Yo,

Does a atomiswave motherboard just plug and play via jamma into an astro city?

I want to buy one and metal slug 6...

Yes, you just have to set the DIP switches to 15khz.
Buttons depends on your cab wiring, atomiswave use 5 buttons, all wired to jamma connector, the 5th button is located after 4th.

If you want to reall enjoy AW games, you really need to rewire your control panel so that the 4th and 5th button also go through the JAMMA connector.

No, it plugs straight in to your JAMMA harness.

Despite its flaws, I like MS6 as well...at least it's way better than 4.
