I'm trying to upgrade my NetDIMM. It's currently at version 2.13. I have a GDS-0023C DIMM update disc and I've tried using the chip from VF4FT both on a Naomi and a Naomi 2 but I keep on getting Error 26 - Option Board Malfunction. The setup works fine when loading games from GD-ROM. What am I doing wrong?
Appreciate any insights I can get on this. Thx in advance

Are the update discs usually "bundled" with a security chip?
I've only updated two NetDimm's but i used the network...

If you are upgrading dimms with firmware so old it doesn't support network then you need to use the GD-ROM

According to the Guru's list they do have specific chips but I've only ever seen one for a 4.01 disc.RMRM wrote:Are the update discs usually "bundled" with a security chip?
