Guys, since a short while my Espgaluda refuses to play. I get this message:
Does anyone know what these codes mean and what the error could be?
I checked the 5V line on the board and that is OK.

Re: Espgaluda problem
I think you do that with the metal switch near the battery, which you normally shouldn't touch.
But somebody correct me if I am wrong.

Re: Espgaluda problem
Turn off power to the board/cab. Push the nvram switch (flick it) and keep it pushed (it wants to go back to original position) 5 seconds at least, to clear the nvram.
Any green crap near the battery, or is it already removed?
A dying battery can cause this problem, so check the voltage and let us know..

Re: Espgaluda problem
OK, clearing the nvram made no difference. However, the battery only measured about 1,0V, way too low. I will find a replacement battery and put it on the board. Let's hope that this causes the problem. Stay tuned.

Re: Espgaluda problem
You can take the battery off and the board will still work. Battery is just for menu settings I think.

Re: Espgaluda problem
Try the DEFAULT SETTING item in the TEST menu. I think I used that once on ESPGALUDA.

Re: Espgaluda problem
That's correct. I've removed the batteries on both my Espgaluda and Ketsui PCBs and they still work.theory wrote:You can take the battery off and the board will still work. Battery is just for menu settings I think.
