replacement battery for DOJ / Ketsui ?

Hi,

anyone have the specs or a link to the Farnell item to replace the batteries on DOJ / Ketsui boards ?

I searched for a hwile but couldn't find it..... honest :(

Im now also in the same situation with Ketsui and Doj. I don't seem to have much luck in finding these batterys, i only found one place that sells them under the written Description, however they don't ship to europe.

Where do you guys buy these?

You can get Varta V80H batteries from your local Maplin. Part no. BN22Y.

Yeah cheers for the battery info! Thinking about changing the battery on my DOJ.

Is this the same battery as the original or more reliable? Im just wondering if I change the battery, will it still need changing again in a couple of years?

From what i read, it would suggest a lifespan of around a good 6 years (Give or take)

I removed the battery for my DOJ and did'nt replace it with any battery . It manages without.
The battery is only for the real time clock .

...and thus system settings reset each time you power up. A minor thing, but worth noting :D
