Naomi sound in a jamma cab
I recently stuck a naomi setup in my egret 2. Since the cab has jvs wiring besides the jamma plug, it was quite easy with a sega i/o between the naomi and the jamma plug, the naomi can be powered with the jvs wiring. My only problem now is, i don't know how to get the sound to work. I read a post by FrancoB which says there are specific cables for this, but i don't know if i can just attach a stereo cable to the f-plug and the sound will work?
Maybe some egret 2 owners can help

You need an amp.

Thanks Cools, can you give me some detailed info also, like how that works cable wise? I can't seem to find the details online.

Something's been modified in the cab.

Re: Naomi sound in a jamma cab
Your Egret 2 probably also has a flat tri-sync LG screen and no rotate mech right? Could be one of those converted Atomiswave cabs from the insert coin event?cools wrote:Something's been modified in the cab.
About your sound problem. Instead of using your Sega converter use a Capcom i/o which has an amp build in.

I'll post some pics of the inside later on. It indeed has no rotate mech.

Re: Naomi sound in a jamma cab
You just need an amp. The Capcom io is the easiest option but any old amp will do
