been trying to get in touch with IDC but wont let me msg him directly since im new to the forum (had to register to give bug report per instructions on http://cps2.avalaunch.net/)

The decrypted romset for USA Street Fighter Alpha 3 is non working. Just boots to a blank white screen. Ended up having to use phoenix edition roms 3 and 4 instead then it worked so something about 3 and 4 in the zip file is bad. Just letting people know.

I just repaired the set. Please reload the page and download the zip. To get it to boot, you should need to reprogram only the 03 chip as that was the one I modified. Let me know if it works for you so I can update the page with the "verified working" tag.

Set sfz3adi was rectified, updated and verified working on real hardware.
Sets sfz2r1dl and sfz2a (Street Fighter Zero 2 Japan 960227 and Asia 960227) added to the site as requested by one user. Sound test stop timer is patched on both sets (timer removed).

Romset sfa3udi.zip is still non working. could please fix? this is Street Fighter Alpha 3 USA romset on http://cps2.avalaunch.net/ . Just boots to a red screen. have tried reburning multiple times. Works if i use the Japanese phoenix edition version but need USA version. I see above where you had fixed and verified the street fighter Zero 3 Japan version but not the USA version. USA version is still non working.(SFA3UDI.ZIP Street Fighter Alpha 3)

Thanks for reporting. I'll have a look at it if Leo doesn't get to it before I do. :)

I just downloaded sfa3udi.zip from the site, merged the program ROMs from the zip file to make it comply with the CPS2 multi format and then loaded it on the CPS2 multi.
It worked on the first try. It is perfectly fine so I don't know what is happening for you.

The file revised 03 file got uploaded in December 5th of 2017 (for solving the exact problem you're reporting) and in the zip file it should be dated 12/05/2017(mm/dd/yyyy). The MD5 for the working file should be "A0ADCFA8D1C7857B9B5FE2F457D505FB". If the file 03 in your zipfile is dated 05/08/2013, you have the bad one. Reload the site holding the shift key on your browser and try downloading again.

P.S.: I don't remember if it was me who fixed this set from not booting but it certainly got fixed in December 2017.

First time in a while that I've tried to access cps2.avalaunch.net but no response - is it only temporarily down?

Thanks

I just tried the Hispanic and Brazil region sets for Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha (sfz2alhdl.zip and sfz2albdl.zip) and couldn't get them to boot (pink screen).

The Asia set however is working just fine (sfz2aldl.zip). Just a heads up!

Same here, tried SFZ2A Hispanic and does not boot; board checks out with Razoola's tester, roms were burnt correctly and CRC verified. Any fix soon? :awe:

Hi Leonardoliveira,

I got a suicided Muscle Bomber Dou - Ultimate Team Battle for repair... I could'nt find any decrypted ROMs for this Game.
Has this game not yet been decrypted or am I too blind to find some? ;-)

Would be great to get som help - thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,
I've got 3 questions about the Avalaunch.
Because I have the Japanese game X-men VS Street Fighter and it's actually running without battery. :)

1.
It's seems to be an Avalaunch as there is no particular logo at launch.
However, I've got a strange quick graphical bug when launching it : a random screen is appearing, then everything appears normally, even the tEST menu.

What is it ? Did you notice it on some games ? Is my game Avalaunched or not ?

You can see on the below image :
Image

2.
This game is available on 3 versions :
version 1 = 960909 for Japon / 960910 for the US
version 2 = 961004, the most common and the one availabe for decryption
version 3 = 961023
On mine it is written 961004 (version 2) at launch screen.

But I wonder :
is it technically possible that this game was, before decryption, a version 1 or 3 ?
What can happen if it was, as it is now version 961004 ? Can it have some ingame gliches/bugs (I didn't see yet, but I didn't play that much) ?

3.
Here is a picture of my PCB. It seems that only EPROMS "XVSJ 03 i" and "XVSJ 04 i" has been modified, is it what should be done to decrypt it ?
("M" written on their labels / but it seems labels has been removed once too, perhaps because other EPROMS has been used to keep the original safe ?)

Thank you :)

Yes, it's just the two chips that have to be rewritten. There's no way tell what version it was before the decrypted roms where burned on the chips.

You would have to dump the roms to know if they're an exact match of the Avalaunch roms.
