Man this sounds great, many thanks for your work.

I'm spreading word that you need hardware on neo-geo.com as well.

Unfortunately the knowledge being public or semi public can often mean there are more people doing the same thing. A certain american guy selling Naomi stuff springs to mind...
Well it's up to us to make the information fully public and/or offer a service for the cost of postage only, thus kicking the **** out of any profit that certain more selfish people would likely try to make otherwise.

As I alluded to, and Leo confirmed, donations of dead carts will be welcomed. I have to send some stuff to Leo anyway, so if anyone in the UK would like to send dead carts to me, I will act as a UK "hub" and will then forward on to Leo within the package I already have to send him, thus saving on postage.

I don't particularly care for CPS3 but I'll be following the progress all the same. It's pretty ridiculous that manufacturers would purposely design their systems to die on honest users and owners (no matter what the reason or perceived lifespan) so any attempts to help the users themselves gets my vote.

Oh dear

There's next to nothing I can say in this thread with any authority and be confident that it's correct or even along the right lines - for the most part, as interesting & exiting all this is, the content flies squarely over my head. I can however say with certainty that your cart is pretty much **** :awe:

I think i can help this project, i'm in the "same location" of Leo and i have the following CPS3 carts:

DL-3229 "A", "B", "C" or "D" sticker on the top of the chip.

Jojos Venture USA "B"

Jojos Venture HISPANIC "D"

Jojos Bizarre Adventure JAPAN "D"

Wazard JAPAN "no sticker"

SFIII: New Generation EURO "A"

SFIII: 2nd Impact JAPAN "B"

SFIII: 3rd Strike USA "C"

SFIII: 3rd Strike JAPAN "B"

PM me if some of these carts are still needed :)

Transform Jojo carts into SF3 2nd impact carts would be sad ? lol (I mean I can put 2nd Impact on one of them for you)

Edit: I have two "D" chips here, which are the ones I am running 2nd Impact on. I, for now don't need any Ds maybe one only if one of the carts I am using for tests here do break. :awe:

Killing a working game to get a chip would be a big shame.

That ruined CPS2 B board could fix another I have here with a blown SPA chip.

Did you know that the CPS2 CPU is on the B board ? lol

Regarding the CPS2 decrypted roms, I still have tons of roms to do, but this is something fresh. I didn't forgot the CPS2. Relax ... :awe:
