Are there Multi PCBs (XXXX in 1) with 31 khz??

Post by Akuma »

I am currently preparing a Naomi Uni for a friend as a birthday present.

I am considering putting a XXXX in 1 PCBs inside. However, since I never cared about those PCBs, I wouldn't know if there are some that support 31 kHz for the Naomi's 29E31S.

If so, do those carts only have Atari age games or are there also some with Neo Geo or Capcom games??

Any hint to put me in the right direction will me most appreciated. Cheers!

Think most of these xxxx in 1 PCB's support at least 15 and 31K. Are you going to JAMMA-fy this Naomi? Never seen one with JVS support.

Yep, some Jamma wiring / soldering is something I consider fun. However I didn't want to bother with 15 khz modification or converter usage :problem:

I think I saw a 31 kHz one with games like Donkey Kong and the like but he is more into Neo Geo and CPS2 (who doesn't love Neo and CPS"? :awe: )

A 1 slot mvs would be about the same cost, then he can build a cart collection :awe:

The iCade 60n1 definitely outputs 31k, I presume most of the xxxx-in-1s will as well.

IIRC the 60n1 takes power from a female PC molex. If you were to put one it in a Naomi you could make a Sun PSU>molex adapter.
