I don’t know if you can replace the sound pot easily. Last time I just gave my broken one away & bought a NG kit (they were £30 + P&P at the time)

RBG managed to get it working by pressing down really hard on the volume dial. Just don’t move it after that.

Yeah my Street Fighter 3 New Generation has a similar issue. However with mine I only have the issue when I try to adjust the volume. If I find the sweet spot and leave it , it works fine. Let me know what you guys find out.

Same here, I just ditched the motherboard and bought a Jojo's off someone cheap.

In my case I'm sure it was the caps - it'd fade off after about 20-40 seconds and then remain almost soundless until a "cold" reboot.
