[VectorGlow] fixed one of mine and did a great job.

He's in Wales but you can always send your PCBs to him.

Give me a ring if you ever move to the US side of the pond... I do a lot of repairs over here.

VG's your man over in the UK.

I'm a cheap ****. I learned to repair things to save money... even surface mount soldering!

My repair logs have moved to here. Enjoy!

Hi channelmaniac, What is the usual cost for a repair? I have a Dangun and AlteredBeast.
Dangun has no sound and AlteredBeast has no video.

Thanks

Did somebody call? ;)

Good idea on the Wiki entry Dave (BTW, you put a space between 'Vector' and 'Glow' - it should be all one word) :D

I thank you. :)

And trmatthe should always be in lower case throughout :) I'd edit it but I've got no rights on the wiki. I'm writing some tech articles for ukvac.com which I'll see about adding into the wiki at some point, but I have some concerns about updates following through so it may just end up as links (I'm talking about theory of operation stuff, troubleshooting and using some of the more useful - and esoteric - tools).

Typical board repairs are between $40 to $50 plus shipping.

Altered Beast may be more expensive if it has suicided as the code isn't available online. If it has suicided you may be able to get the repair kit from segaresurrection.com.
