A cheap reliable online shop for Eproms
Where does everyone buy their Eproms from?
I need some 27C4001 type or compatible but Farnell and RS seem pretty expensive.

Idk anyone in the UK, but Epromman in the US is priced well. Idk know if he ships to UK or if its worth the shipping at all. http://www.epromman.com/

Re: A cheap reliable online shop for Eproms
Thanks for the heads up man. He is super cheap compared to the two companies mentioned above. Shipping may be a deal breaker but it is worth asking.ReplicaX wrote:Idk anyone in the UK, but Epromman in the US is priced well. If anyone in the UK knows of a similar place please lmk

Re: A cheap reliable online shop for Eproms
I have no idea how prices compare but I was looking at http://www.buyicnow.com" recently. They are based in China but they do ship internationaly.
I know some people have bought Eproms from them via ebay, ic-china is their username.

I've bought a fair few EPROMs from IC-China and never had any problems.

Re: A cheap reliable online shop for Eproms
The 274001 is an 8-bit byte EPROM and the 274002 is a 16-bit wide EPROM so the two aren't compatible. Plus the '02 has 8 more pins than the '01andygeezer wrote:I got some 27c4002's how many do you need? I think they'll be the same and also some 27c4096.

I've also used ic-china and Shelly61@aol.com for bulk stuff. If you mail Shelly and ask for what you need she'll give you quantities and scaling discounts. She's in the states but never had any customs problems

27C040 are compatible and made by more manufacturers... 27C4001 is an ST part number.cRacKh0rN wrote:Where does everyone buy their Eproms from?

I'm a cheap ****. I learned to repair things to save money... even surface mount soldering!
My repair logs have moved to here. Enjoy!
