Raiden IV Type X in a Naomi

Post by zumbito »

Im atrying to connect my Type X to my naomi cab and I get no signal, does the type X automaitcally scales to 480p or do I need to do anything? Also, the board has 4 usb port and one that says jamma, which one is for the dongle and which for the JVS usb cable?

Thanks!

The white DVI port is 480p/31KHz, the blue VGA port is 480i/15KHz. You must connect the cab's JVS to the port marked JVS only. Any of the free USB ports can be used for the dongle.

I only have 4 USB and one extra that says jamma. Should it show image even without the JVS IO connected? Shouldnt DVI be 720p?

Type X doesn't support 720p. DVI connector outputs 31khz and DE15 / "VGA" connector 15khz, as has been mentioned.

The JVS IO doesn't have to be connected to get video out of it. The JVS connector does indeed say Jamma.
