I did one B2 poster at 600 DPI and it crushed my machine, since it takes 6 scans. Might be able to do it now that I have 8GB of RAM, but it'll still grind to a hault.
but you linked to them asking if they were good enough to print and they weren't
Fair enough. It's unfortunately a quality versus quantity thing. Usually I'm for the former, except in this case. ;)

Yeah working in super high quality can be a mega ram hog, worse when your system crashes under the load after you spent a hour working on a scan. I hate doing it too but the results are always worth it for me.

I don't have a website bandwidth to worry about though, I'm sure you'd get a lot more traffic if you started offering print quality arcade posters ;)

Definitely. And that's kind of the other issue. While it would be awesome, most of the posters are sold (recently) by Cave, so that's not much different than selling ROMs, IMHO.

True plus fansboys would get their knickers pretty tightly knotted, with them selling second/third/forth etc hand for £40 upward.

I'd not bother with Cave though, they only sell them in tiny limited runs (outside of the kits) to make sure they have a following of elite fans. I hate their attitude toward marketing and people bleeding, they can **** right off.

Anyway, I just want some artwork. I spent too long decorating my walls to ruin them with posters :)

Their marketing attitude I do not like much either. I liked it when they had a few weird items here and there, but now they've got some new **** for my kitchen every few months.

If you're looking for anything specifically, let me know.

Rise...

Just to say that gaijinpunch's flyers scans are perfectly suitable for printing, on A4 at least. I just did a borderless print of the Futari BL flyer and although it's a touch soft compared to the high res Dangun and Twin Hawk flyers I just printed, it's more than acceptable for cab use.

That's the flyer? There's no marquee.

I know there's a better flyer scan somewhere...

EDIT: Yeah, there's a 2MB one in one of these: http://www.progettosnaps.net/flyers/

EDIT 2: It's the regular size JPG that's floating around but converted to PNG... rbisland.png (PNG Image, 1205 × 850 pixels). It's this one: https://flyers.arcade-museum.com/flyers ... 129201.jpg

Wonder if someone does off the shelf frames with mounts for multiple A4 flyers.

I'm looking for the Kyukyoku Tiger II (F3) move strip if anyone happen to have it.

I don't know if there is one for Gekkirindan, but that would be great too.

Thanks to anyone who can help :awe:

I already have some kind of copy of the original strip (not perfect unfortunately...), so if you scan yours, which seems smaller than the original size, it will be of lesser quality I think.
But thanks a lot for digging these...

Funny because you can find scans of the instruction flyer easily, but not the move strip...
