It's from moshpit coming in march then to be sent via Germany, Although the prices seems sky high on sort after cabs at the moment, Still looks in pretty good nick, Just have to see if theirs any screen burn, Don't really want to pay those prices then have to spend loads more buying a replacement monitor. Still moshpit said I can have a refund on my deposit if it has so win win 8-)

Cross fingers to have a monitor in great condition. I own an Irem Madonna and I had the bad luck to use a faulty setpdown transformer which **** the monitor chassis... Monitor in the Pony III is a nanao MS-8 25FAR, the same as in Irem Madonna's and Taito Canary's and it's very, very rare and uncommon.

Chances to get an original replacement for this monitor even in Japan are nearly 0, so if any of the Pony III owners know where to find a replacement or an alternative please tell me as I need one.

PS. I think Superpang was also in the hunt for one monitor for his Pony, maybe he knows something about that and can upload some nice pics of his cabinet.

Thanks, Yeah 25" monitors are hard to come by, I think the one in cools Pony was a new imported one from the USA maybe you can contact the guy he bought it from and see if you can get one, Although I think it was around £500 bp including taxes not cheap :o

I am still looking for a replacement monitor for mine. I'd even buy another Pony and swap some stuff around if I could.

Garg, if you're going to stick 6 buttons in your Ponys panel, at least drop me a line first. I have spares that aren't in great condition that'd be more suited to being screwed with than messing up an original in nice nick :)

I emailed yesterday brentelectronics as in the webpage have 25" 15-25Khz Hantarex monitors and they replied me later that 25" Crt monitors are no longer available, they are obsolete :?

Do you know who stills produces crt monitors? Maybe only Nieman or Makvision? Groupbuy?

Or you could buy a cheap woody and strip it for the monitor ,i know it may not be a nano but it does widen the spectrum for these monitors !

<trk>:I remember catching a big fat one and my friend said "throw it back in, that one already tastes like wood"

Screw Nanao. The Toei in mine is gorgeous. The only bit I don't like is how fiddly it is to get to the remote board, and the cables are too short for me to move it anywhere!

He imported it from America "new" apparently. From the dirt on the tube, I don't think it's new, but there's no burn and it warms up in seconds.

When I remember I'll check the chassis number for you.
