Your Arcade "To Do" Checklist
You know, the crap you're supposed to be doing to your machines but you keep getting tempted by the other cab(s) and end up playing.
I was making great progress last month, this month.. not so much.
I need to :
1. Recap Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike's sound caps, the sound dies randomly. I might send this one out as I have no skill soldiering to PCB's.
2. Wire service credit to 1P and 2P start buttons on my Q-25 I use for shooters
3. Sand and repaint the Control Panel of my newest Impress
4. Replace a foot (sheesh, they're like 2 bucks what the hell's wrong with me) on the same Impress
5. Clean my middle MVU-4-25, the inside is dustier than a AES collection
6. Build 2 backplates for my Mini Cutes, so I can shove a link cable through them without harming the original plating
7. Get a dent out of one of my MVU-4-25's on the back, I keep forgetting about it since I can't see it
8. Add the control panel locks to my pink mini cute (they get here next week)
9. Find a Neo 19 in the states
So, what have you been putting off?

Nothing.
The only arcade-related thing I think about atm is to choose a nice gift for myself when I turn 30 in December.

Re: Your Arcade "To Do" Checklist
Game Room:
1) find a lighting solution
2) tidy it up (and find a place for all the stuff for storage)
3) more posters
Mame Net City:
1) get a propper 1L6B panel with no card reader, drill 2 extra button holes in it and attach a Andy Geezer Services-MCS Net City overlay
2) raise the PFX so it is flush with the bezel (will get the appropriate bushes by tomorrow though
3) get a spare base with a propper coin door (one screw didn't come out when painting it and now it is a bit off when you open it) and have it painted better as one side is a bit dull
most importantly
4) install a propper frontend and do the final UI tweaks
New Net City:
1) put it back together - getting the required spare parts tomorrow though ; )
1b) get a GD Rom mount, GD rom power splitter cable and Sega SCSI-2 cable
Super Neo 29 Candy:
1) make up my mind if I want to rewire it to MVS or not
2) paint the bezel, cp upper, maybe cp lower and maybe rest of the body
(optional: Get artwork to convert it to Type II)
3) put a brand new monitor in it
Wooden Mini Megalo:
1) make up my mind if I still want it and if I want to finish this project

Could start with just owning anything arcade or a cab as I'm all out until my next 1 arrives & that could be some time...

Re: Your Arcade "To Do" Checklist
1. Respray the top panel on the base section (looks like it was [over]sprayed in an inch-thick coat by a 5-year-old).
2. Get some proper sized leg art that wasn't meant for an SD cab (I wish it just had the stock clear Naomi Uni stuff on there)
3. Design custom CPO and marquee, and get rid of the 'Net City' stuff
4. Find good printer for custom CPO and marquee
5. One day track down a burn-free MS2932 ( )
6. replace the CP lower that has some unidentified holes drilled in it (I'm pretty sure they are holes, just don't know why they are there)
7. Find a nice mini cab and convince the missus I need it

Re: Your Arcade "To Do" Checklist
I have to get a Virtua Cop 2 cabinet up in the attic - without using the door (10 cm too small) . Really don't know how to do this right now, the only way seems to be lifting it through the window...
