Solved: Looking for a Western theme game

Post by LEGENOARYNINLIA »

It was Iga Ninjyutsuden: Itsushin no Kaku, released as Ninja Kazan in the west. Not really a Western game, but oh well.

---

Help. I've been racking my brain to find this side scrolling action game set in the wild wild west for 24 hours now.
So far I've come up with nothing.

It's not:
-Sunset Riders
-Express Raider
-Moo Mesa
-Iron Horse
-Blood Bros
-Wild Western
-Or any lightgun game

I believe it was released in the 80s, never left Japan, has some weird enemy designs, first stage is rather brown, and probably no one cares about it as it was pretty mediocre. Any ideas?

None of those either. This isn't a well known game, I think.

It probably has taken one 100 yen coin in the last 30 years when some westerner decided to play it :awe:

I played that on an Atari 2600 emulator during lunch breaks in school when I was about 14. :palm:

You sure it's side scrolling?

Throwing Blood Bros out there otherwise.

Edit: I'm stupid, you already said it.

I found the game, thanks to nem. It wasn't a Western game, really, just sort of. It was...

Well of course it was.

That classical music on top of the only video of it on YouTube really ties it together.
