Don't know if you've seen this but I saw [this] on UKVAC. It sounds like there are a load of cabinets being scrapped in Bahrain.

Wrong information, the place isn’t getting demolished, it’s getting renovated, some of the machines can be sold like Crazy Taxi For 1350 dollars.

No Japanese Candy Cabs.

Failed treasure hunting .

Nothing being scrapped then? As long as they're safe from the bin, that's the most important thing.

That clone candy might be a worthwhile project cab providing the owner didnt want too much for it. I bet it's switched off because the monitor is bad. I've asked around some arcade suppliers here in Dubai and they wont touch the older stuff (I need a monitor service on my astro). I was hopeful as there are some major suppliers here in one of the trade districts with large tech/service department but they just dont want to know. They were happy to start the ball rolling and charge me a call out fee (around 80 GBP) to "see the machine" and inform me of what was wrong, but as soon as I let them know that I knew what was wrong and navigated their fee the game was up. . .

Yes have already spoken to Grant,

my monitor has some convergence issues in the corners, nothing severe, but enough to warrant the service. Plus I can see some bodge job's have been done on repairs previously made on the chassis, so it needs looking at. . .
