I have just acquired Pink Sweets PCB in Japan but my revision does not exist in this link:

I don't recall seeing this one before. Extra dots in the SH3/CV-1000 games usually (but not always) indicate bug-fixes. It's probably a bug-fixed version, though also probably not as "finally" fixed as the 4-dot version.

The other 2006/04/06 MASTER versions have the infinite lives trick, so I would bet this one still has that too. The only bug fix that really matters is the freeze bug at the end of stage 6 (which occurs very rarely even in the unfixed version).

BTW that wiki link in the OP says the rank increases much slower in the 4-dot version, but I never noticed a difference from the regular version in that regard.
