Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 v1.2 Question

Hi i have the Jamma board for UMK3 v1.2

Problem is i never seem to see more then about 3 levels.

The only places you fight is Jades Desert, Hell which you can uppercut to another level and thats about it.....

I'm sure i rmemeber on the n64 etc more levels then this?? Bell tower, subway etc.....

From what I have read the versions are on tweaks in the cpu Character gameplay, you should have all stages.

Have you tried playing it in MAME to see if it acts the same?

how come, test screen is all green on ROMS and shows version 1.2 which i belive is the latest?

I have umk3, not sure of the version at the moment, but have you tried clearing the hell level without uppercutting? iirc the umk3 stages loop if you uppercut on certain levels. Otherwise, you should be able to access most of the original mk3 stages. The only ones missing were graveyard and bell tower I think.

maybe its me being a muppet as in 2 player i get all levels,

maybe i need to choose EXPERT on the tower list of players to get all the access to the others

When you play in single player mode, the game will pass 2 times through the 5 new levels before switching to the old mk3 stages. If you uppercut in the hell stage, a new loop of the new 5 stages will be activated.
I know it is an answer to a very old post, but who knows when it will be needed?
