Most Memorable Arcade Music
What are some of the stand out tracks for you folks? Memorable and awesome music from some of your favourite arcade games. I'll start with:
Gun Frontier has an amazing OST by Zuntata. Most memorable and unique track for me is the Stage 2 music. It starts out peaceful and quiet and keeps building up with the action!
Rapid Hero / Arcadia - Stage 2 music - totally over the top and epic - just like the game itself!
J.J. Squawkers - Stage 2 music (again) - Probably the most relaxing arcade track in history
Breaking the stage 2 streak with one of my favourite CAVE shooters:
Mushihimesama - Stage 3 music. Almost has a Prog Rock sound to it. Music suits the stage perfectly! Love this track.

Re: Most Memorable Arcade Music
A lot of my preferred games are precisely because I like the soundtrack. In many cases the game itself might not be all that great but if the soundtrack is good, I'll enjoy it.
Pink Sweets Stage 6 is my goto answer for this question.
More Cave. Muchi Muchi Pork boss music sticks in my head
Non Cave, not a great game example: Mitchell's Super-X

Re: Most Memorable Arcade Music
most of my playing back when i was a youf was with headphones on ...!
I'll throw in the obvious sf2 , it has it all really as well as the soundbites to make it more memorable, love it and was one of the only game soundtracks I wanted to pick up.

Hnnnnggggggg... I'll make an effort and not list any fighting game music.
I absolutely love the Genpei Toumaden soundtrack.
And the Rastan soundtrack.
(that's a medley)

Espgaluda stages 1 and 3 come to mind, especially when it starts the stage one track during the run to the final boss. Deathsmiles Hades Castle is another one that sets the tone for the stage particularly well.

Very high quality throughout. The final stage is the best IMHO, at 9:25.
