I don’t really understand why “wasi303” is so explicitly named and even less why there would be a soundtrack edition. You could almost use it as elevator music. There is nothing wrong with it per se but it is very unremarkable at least to me

Re: exA-Arcadia
It does seem a but strange. Not sure if the arcade music is different to the Android version but that was bland to say the least. Psyvariar it was not.
Looks like the OST is already available on cassette, and CD.

No love for the soundtrack here? I'd say it's one of the best efforts in the last decade for a shmup soundtrack, but then again I really like rock style soundtracks and the whole Heavy Metal Raiden covers from Raiden etc. I guess it's each to his own.
Because he's the composer?

Re: exA-Arcadia
It's not exactly standard to have tthe composer named so prominently. Since it is pretty average at best (i think this is not just me but what most peoples opinion on it is) i don't see why for example it warrants getting spammed by who made the music when you start a new game to name something.
Why not include the coder or graphics dude while you're at it?

Um yeah... it's a soundtrack... that's why you would name the programmer... or the graphic designer... ok... carry on

Not sure why you are being pedantic like that, but since you seem to refuse to just read what i type here is a visual aid

Ok, for the record. You don't like his music and therefore you're nitpicking about a one second splash screen. I couldn't care less.

Re: exA-Arcadia
I wish they'd mention the changes on this one. Is it really just free play only?suicider wrote: ↑August 8th, 2020, 11:30 am In case anyone's interested, Tanoshimasu/Ge-sen Mikado is doing a crowdfunding for the release of the Aka to Blue Type R soundtrack. There's also a pledge for a 'home edition' called 'Magic Spice' which is limited to 20 copies. I doubt there will be any differences from the retail version apart from 'free play only' but it's still a nice collectors item (but pricey )

So who ordered one? Looks like the crowdfunding was a success.

Wow. Might have been appealing to Japanese buyers as I don't think A&B is available for public purchase over there. I could be wrong.

rancor is on holiday, so it would have been difficult :p I'd rather save the money for the CAVE games.

Re: exA-Arcadia
The Magic Spice cart only pledge was sold out in minutes, the mobo + cart pledge in less than an hour. I was lucky enough to snag a soundtrack via proxy. But yes, the demand was quite high

Re: exA-Arcadia
The limited edition unit is gorgeous. Funny that they used the same bi-colour case as for Aka & Blue for the cartridge.
