P-47 Aces update with more characters and two additional game modes besides the original version seems to offer quite plenty, especially with 4 players.

What is the difference between Kai 2P and Wide 4P mode?

Arcade Heroes provide the more accurate update for English speakers. Looks like Kai is the super enhanced 4P wide mode vs Wide with slightly easier difficulty.

Anybody now when preorders open?
Next week, preorders will open up for overseas ahead of Japanese retail sales.

Aces is the original game perfectly ported with the 4 new ships and new art available.

Wide is the above Aces balanced for 16:9 and adds the 4 player mode.

Kai/Mark II is the all new arranged mode with the new ships & 4 player mode, new arranged soundtrack by Manabu Namiki, new stages, new enemies and new system enhancements like the Hyper.

Shou wrote: January 19th, 2022, 2:29 pm All of Taito Hey’s cabinets with an exA-Arcadia in it has either the Diamond Black or 2019 Taito Tech replacement monitor in them.

At Club Exa (WGC), all Vewlix cabs have been upgraded to the 2019 Taito Tech monitors, Noirs are the blue 1080p monitors and Lindberghs are upgraded to the 1080p monitors from Chunithm.

If you’re not linking cabinets, any of the LCD cabinet JVS IO boards will be fine.

On Taito JVS IOs, just insure that your PSU is outputting a consistent +12v to power the IO board. We have seen brownouts on older Vewlix models which will cause an IO error so just get a multimeter out and measure what is going into the IO then adjust as needed.
Would those Chunithm monitors be available to the public for Lindbergh upgrades?
You have to deal with Sega Logistics in Japan to get it done.

I was browsing KVC lab's website as I plan to visit soon and noticed this game posted:

RumbleStorm X
Never heard any details or mention about it before (though I could have easily missed that). Anyone got any more details about it by chance?

That’s one of the adult games on the Hawt Pink system, which is basically a rebranded exA. I think it has an option to turn off the smut if you just want a straightforward shooter, though I have no idea how good the game is. As I recall, you can play Hawt Pink games on an exA, but I’ve never seen confirmation on that.

Anyway, cool that preorders for Touhou are opening soon. Think I might hold off on that one for the moment in favor of Samsho, but I guess it depends on pricing. All I have right now is A&B, Infinos, and Cotton… so I need some genre variety.

Yes, Hawt Pink Club games are 100% compatible with exA-Arcadia systems. Sexual sequences can be disabled in test mode.

I needed a change of pace, so I started putting time into Infinos Exa. This game is really something special. The original mode is great, but the Exa mode is where the game really comes alive - it's got just the right amount of on-screen chaos at any given moment and the level designs I've seen so far have been pretty heavily polished up. The visuals are great (I'm a sucker for that Taito F3 look), the music is fantastic, and the controls are snappy. Just an immensely satisfying game to play.

Also, it doesn't kick my **** nearly as much as A&B. That's gotta count for something.

Trailer's been up for a few days, too:

I've never actually played a Touhou game before (the sheer weeb factor is a turn-off), but might have to give this one a shot. Looks way better than I expected.
