Blazing Chrome is Good but a bit too long for an arcade game imo. The HighScore Screen had a bug but i'm sure they've fixed it by now.

It's always good to change it up now and then :)
Which bug is that?

Not really. Price is about the same I think.

When entering no name on the HighScore screen too many times will eventually result in this error.

But you can fix this problem easily by resetting the HighScores in the test menu.

Gonna be in Japan in January to early Feb and will be heading out to Club Exa to check it out (not to mention hitting up a bunch of other arcades). Would there be any good reason to pick up a kit while I am out there?
JAEPO is Feb 10-11.
For anyone coming to Japan, come on by to our booth which will have 36 cabs and all released/new games on hand.

This is the artist who worked at Inti Creates on Rockman ZX.
The new artwork for Shinorubi Pink Label is also on the site.

I've only had an hour or so with this and I'm totally hooked!

Never played P-47 Aces so this is all new to me. Kai mode seems to improve on it massively; lovely Namiki AST, no slowdown, extended levels, extra characters and a relatively simple hyper system. Shooting the warning text Thunder Dragon style is a neat touch as well!

Bullet patterns are fast but with fairly short levels it seems relatively easy to learn them. Wide mode seems pretty good for that as you have no tempting hypers to get out of trouble. This is certainly one that benefits from low lag.

Only got to stage 4 so far and haven't experimented with bumping enemies yet.

Top tier title.

Be interest to know how much more content is there from original and if its worth getting if you already own it?

Having never played the original, it certainly better value. It has the original game with the two extra characters, a "Wide" mode which I think is tweaked a bit in the gameplay as well, and Kai mode, which has an arranged soundtrack, hyper system and the levels and enemies have been adjusted quite a bit. The second level doesn't start with the boss for example.

Depends how big a fan of the original you are I guess.

Anyone have an issue where a game appears fine on the game selection screen but picking it eventually returns you to game selection instead of loading the game? I already sent support an email, but figure I'll ask in case anyone else ran into this. It's the first time I'm trying to run my exA after getting it back from the last round of updates :(

Yay.. Not a cabinet, but recently tested the Exa Arcadia with MP07 IONA, and it works as expected. Tried out Cosmic Digger, Nippon Marathon Turbo, and P-47 Aces Mk II. Very likely to make a 4P cabinet for this soon.

Probably being dumb here but how do you access extreme mode in P-47?

Same way as Akai Katana: Hit “down” on the character select screen and the background will turn red.
Good luck! It’s tough.

Thanks. No idea why I didn't try that.
I noticed you can use the old artwork by pressing start though, which is nice.

Until I saw this video I had actually never seen this system running but I was very impressed by how the front end looks & works silky smooth:
