Apart from a promo shot on a trade show i've never seen 4 people using a cab. Heck even 2p is rare. I have a really hard time believing the 4p functionality will get any use at all and seems quite silly to release surfboard sized cabs for that sporadic niche use. But hey it's their cab, maybe they enjoy the crapmame galleries

You don't need to pay 4k USD per game.

The Exa motherboard is 2667 USD. Games are between 523 and 1594 USD. It was a bit cheaper in the past when you could get a game and board combo.

I question the argument that we are missing out on any games that would have been on steam if it were not fir Exa?

If it were not for Exa funding them or developing these versions of the games then many would not exist.

Okay it's possible that a developer of some obscure arcade I.P might have decided to spontaneously spend an extra year developing an enhanced arcade version for steam only to have people pirate it, but something tells me that's unlikely.

The way I see it is that we are getting more games.. just not ones you can necessarily play all of right now.

It would be neat if there was lower game prices on the Exa, that's why I only have a couple. But we have to be realistic in what is required to make a profit. Arcade games have always been expensive and there will second hand market at some point.

Yeah i could write a long text, much of what has been said before. I think it's safe to say it's not a subject we are likely to agree on.

I can only imagine the sodium levels if Shou ends up cutting a deal with them to actually make it exA-clusive and it doesn't come to Steam after all. :awe: No take-backsies!

Isn't there supposed to be another Cave game coming?

The salt must flow!😆but yeah a run n gun metal slug style exclusive would be awsome for exa!they well established now so don’t think rehashing steam games will cut it moving forward even the ops are requesting more exclusives so they don’t have to compete with console or pc!that said the games from steam on exa are the definitive versions!as for cave releases who knows, maybe?they should defo just focus on the exclusives
