The amount of effort by (one guy?) is amazing. Looks like a fun game!

Re: exA-Arcadia
AFAIK it's an arcade exclusive sequel to a doujin PC game, made using 2D Fighter Maker. Clearly it's not going to set the FGC world alight but I think it's pretty cool that these indies can get their games in arcades this way. Good look to 'em.

Re: exA-Arcadia
I think the USA Konami 4 or 6 player cabs were for arcade only in the earl 90ties. At least I lost many quarters in them in arcades and not at someones home.MrJBRPG wrote: ↑May 5th, 2021, 11:20 pm
The only good thing about this kind of cabinet is that it perfectly caters to 2 and 4 player setups, mostly inspired by arcade-for-home cabinets with 3rd and 4th players at the edge while players 1 and 2 are at the center. That could also mean potential UI accommodations for any game that want to match player layout instead of the standard left to right order (alternatively, wire the players from left to right like the old days).

You have to collect a certain number of stars per level.redfield0009 wrote: ↑June 11th, 2021, 1:39 pm So you just jump and catch things until you stop playing out of boredom?

Re: exA-Arcadia
I agree. This is terrible. Not really the type of quality game we should be expecting from $2500 hardware.
2021 is looking disappointing regarding the exa. I'd love to see something like the new Metal Slug adapted and brought over to this system. Instead we get some shovelware.
Power to the exa!

I'm going to go against the grain here, I think it looks fun and quirky, and the cheaper price point is very welcome.

Re: exA-Arcadia
Yeah I've actually no opinion really on it but all arcade systems need some budget titles

Re: exA-Arcadia
This would make a great budget exa title:
Played it to death when it came out. Super addictive with "just one more go" quality.

Re: exA-Arcadia
Hard to judge. First thing that comes to mind though is why other indies that involve minimal effort in porting can't match this price point. I realize i'm not the target demographic but i could be tempted at this price.
