Re: exA-Arcadia
That Strania hardware is incredible. I've never seen such a good LE system.
Anyway, cool to see the game is nearing release after radio silence for more than a year. AST is cool, though I kinda hope they include the OST as an option, given that the music was already so good.

Out of interest, where was the Strania limited edition up for pre-order? I don't remember seeing it on the Exa website, but may have missed it.

Re: exA-Arcadia
It was for sale on the exA website in June 2018. Price was around $2000 AFAIR but the page doesn't exist anymore.

Re: exA-Arcadia
I'm surprised anyone ordered one at all. Details were very scarce back then.

Re: exA-Arcadia
I believe the page was put up prematurely then pulled but they've kindly honoured the orders anyway. I'm surprised I wasn't the only one to be honest! Felt a bit of an idiot for jumping the gun at the time.nem wrote: ↑July 10th, 2020, 6:30 pm I'm surprised anyone ordered one at all. Details were very scarce back then.

Re: exA-Arcadia
I've had a sneak peek of the casework before (looks way better than the grey one shown at JAEPO) but had no idea they would be signed!
This will be going in the NNC.

Re: exA-Arcadia
I don't think it was a mistake. They made a video announcing the pre-order too: https://www.arcadebelgium.net/t5959-str ... hina#34746 and AFAIR there was a deadline for pre-orders.SuperPang wrote: ↑July 10th, 2020, 6:37 pmI believe the page was put up prematurely then pulled but they've kindly honoured the orders anyway. I remember that I wanted to buy it but didn't have the money at the time. So I started saving for it but I missed the deadline. I was also expecting that the system would be roughly the same price when released.
Surely they were over optimistic regarding the production cost and time but this release is a nice reward to early supporters of the system.

Re: exA-Arcadia
Location test has finished but there will be another next week as Maruyama still wants to tweak Hell mode a bit more. Seems happy nobody cleared it. Pretty cool to see such perfectionism for what could've been a quick cash-in.

Re: exA-Arcadia
At least it's a good think that Exa Arcadia are doing a lot more location tests in Japan to make up for the cancelled "Exa Arcadia Festival".
Various games went on location test and more coming, such as Nippon Marathon Turbo Hyper Running, Blazing Chrome AC, Fight of the Gods Arcade Edition, and Super Battle Princess Madeline.
This came up on my feed this morning.
I can only wish them the best of luck....

Re: exA-Arcadia
In case anyone's interested, Tanoshimasu/Ge-sen Mikado is doing a crowdfunding for the release of the Aka to Blue Type R soundtrack. There's also a pledge for a 'home edition' called 'Magic Spice' which is limited to 20 copies. I doubt there will be any differences from the retail version apart from 'free play only' but it's still a nice collectors item (but pricey )
