I'll probably hot glue mine to the motherboard case, though...just to be safe :lolno:
And rub 2 balloons between your thighs while you play.

In my case, the monitor would probably blow up long before the static damages anything :shifty:

Cotton Rock 'n' Roll announced, a very nice surprise. :D

https://exa.ac/product/cotton-rocknroll ... 177369a3b7

The description mentions an exA exclusive 2 player mode.

Great to see this coming out on the exA. :awe:

Bit of a surprise this as it is out on SEGA's APM3 tomorrow. Seems like the Exa version will have some extra features.

That automatically makes the AMP3 version the inferior experience. Quite a way to shine above the old competition. 2 player Cotton hasn’t been a thing since Cotton 2 and Boomerang.

Is this the first time a new title has debued to multi arcade platforms? I hope it does well for Success Co and the arcade exposure boosts sales of the standard console release too.

I've now joined the club. :awe:

Welcome to the club! The Vritra Hexa exA is absolutely beautiful!

It's not the first time that an arcade game is released on several platforms, I'm thinking of Puzzle Bobble that was released the same year on Taito System B and NeoGeo MVS (and later on NESICAxLive), Puzzle Bobble 2 on Taito F3 and MVS, The King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match on System Y2 and Type X² (NESICAxLive). There are surely others...

He's surely not the only one working on shmups there though :)
(but still yes)

edit: I believe the games trap work on have dev= "TEAM EXA-AM2" on their exa pages, like:

It's notable that Japanese is not listed as one of the language options for Cotton - I hope this refers to UI only and voiceover work is unaffected. The Japanese version of the Cotton announcement clarifies the exA release is for international (non-Japanese) markets only; it's entirely possible Sega has exclusivity within Japan.

Voices are in Japanese. Only the story text is not available in Japanese due to Sega.

On the plus side, you get less input lag and better performance due to Sega too.

Yay... I am in no rush to order an Exa Arcadis myself, but I did pre-order Cosmic Digger due to being a unique 4 player score run caravan. I hear from some folks online that Exa Arcadia home owners are most concentrated in SF Bay Area. The main problem is finding someone in the Bay Area that operates with Exa Arcadia. I do not have enough space in my bedroom for an arcade cabinet. Perhaps I may have luck having someone rent the game or so.

If I have a bigger room with more space, I could get an arcade cabinet to store an Exa Arcadia.

(PS I hate cabinets with pre-installed bootleg multi-game boards so much from bad emulation and lags that I would gut it out for Exa Arcadia)

An arcade cabinet is not required to play exA-Arcadia. You could also plug the system to your TV or PC monitor via HDMI and use a JVS to USB converter for controls ( http://redsuns.be/#exausb ) ;-)
