I’m guessing it’s the same as CRT cabs, when they’re old they’re close to worthless to operators
Remember that Exa Arcadia has a good lineup of shooting, fighting, and some party games along with others.
Shou has stated MrJBRPG has nothing to do with Exa Arcadia. Any of your posts that were deleted were for trolling.Jan wrote: August 18th, 2019, 3:14 pmRemember that Exa Arcadia has a good lineup of shooting, fighting, and some party games along with others.
How the hell can you mods ignore this guerilla marketing nonsense ? Shame on you.
credibility going down the drain.
*expect this to be deleted, again.
Well it’s clearly not working so now you’re no longer interested you can sell me that Vewlix
OlDirty wrote: July 27th, 2019, 9:20 am Does anybody ever see a video showing a exa game running on a CRT?
Yep.. As we remember back in the thread, the big priority of supported inputs to outputs are very likely HDMI and VGA as they are more modern than CGA (15Khz). I had to look up the 31khz to 15khz converters, known as down-graders. The irony of converters that you expect that it's easy and affordable to go from input A to output B, but upgraders tend to be more affordable than down-graders due to the latter being more niche and older hardware being phased out by more convenient solutions.rancor wrote: August 18th, 2019, 10:31 pm I asked Shou about it directly (CRT version) since I only own CRT cabs, and he said its pretty much the bottom priority and required the purchase of extra hardware. I would imagine that it's nothing they're proud of, and should only be used as a very last resort. I'm just going to forget it was ever mentioned...![]()
Unless you prefer waiting for a proprietary solution from Exa Arcadia, perhaps the next best thing is a DIY VGA to CGA gadget:zak wrote: August 18th, 2019, 11:00 pm That's disappointing.
I guess I'm going to miss this generation of Arcade games (unless this additional hardware is available to buy and setup easily).
That is what the HDMI and VGA are used for. Only Shou knows best on the hardware. We will have to wait until then.SuperPang wrote: August 18th, 2019, 11:37 pm I assume Shou was talking 15KHz? I’d rather hook it up to the TV. Easy enough.
