Help identifying machine

Post by OLDBYTE »

Hi , I recently purchased this machine here in Australia. I am having trouble finding any information on them. It was made in Japan by Banpresto in 1992. It was described to me as a slot machine with trading cards as the prize. I am going to restore it but before I do I would to see some pics of an original machine. I would really appreciate your help. Let me know if you need more pics. Thanks in advance.

Apparently it's called 'Lucky Seven'. Google this: BANPRESTO -ゲーム&カード ラッキーセブン-

I have started to disassemble the machine. I am repainting some of the yellowed plastic components and the rusty red metal parts.

Yeh.... Not sure I could cope with that. We are having minimum overnights at 17degrees C and days at 27 degrees C . Great for painting :D Queensland. Beautiful one day perfect the next. Or so the sales pitch goes.

I thought I would show off the finished product. It has come up really well. It is all ready to give to my son for Christmas. Thanks to those who helped along the way.

Somebody help PLEASE . After restoring the machine, I went to put the Sailor Moon cards in and they don't fit. Normal trading cards are slightly larger and don't fit in the mechanism. The Capcom Mario cart cards etc that were in the machine are slightly smaller. There was one Pokémon card in the machine. see pic. Does anyone know anything about this card? is it part of a series that I can get more. Or do I need a new card mechanism the right size. I'm desperate to get it running for Christmas. Any help would be appreciated

Yes. As you can see, the Pokemon card clearly says "carddass" on it. I instructed you to buy Carddass cards in the other thread you made.

Thanks, Ok now I'm beginning to understand all this. Lucky I ordered some other Sailor Moon cards and I'm pretty sure these are carddass. They should arrive in the next day or 2. Thanks again for your help.
