difference between dfk 1.0 & dfk 1.5

today I recieved a daifukkatsu 1.0
I paid it only 78000 jpy
I just would like to know what is the difference between the two versions ?
I heard something about more ranking disponibility but I see on the menu that the minimum extend for earn 1up is 100000000 points, that's really much,
on 1.5 is it possible to earn more points ?

I see there is so much differences
I dont' know how tu use the super powered yellow/green shoot (fewer bomb ?) ( I used it one or two times max in a continue party)
if I understood well on 1.5 version it's possible to use it more times than the 1.0 and it's rechargeable ?
can you explain me this option better ?
-Fewer bombs + autobomb feature in bomber mode (what is auto bomb ?)
-Recharging hyper meter during hypers in power mode

p.s. somebody have a code for unlock green helicopter and hardest mode ?

and my last question is : does cave changes all 1.0 versions to 1.5 ?
if yes how much ?

So just a few tweaks only which could have done after testing it properly. Can't imagine there's a massive price difference between the two?

so... i tryed it again and see instructions on the website
now I can use the superpowered shoot (yellow/green/black) with a full gauge of energy after hitting a lot of enemies
-is it the famous rechargeable gauge ? = Recharging hyper meter during hypers in power mode

that's a nice price i think. at the time, cave were doing the fix for free, but perhaps this service has stopped? try contacting one of the japan pcb shops (fujita, mak, g-front, etc) to see if they can send it to cave for you, for a fee.

do you think it's possible to make a fix in a mushi sama to now a day ?
(taking off the dbl connector and update the latest version) ?

Ver 1.0 is cheaper than 1.5 because no one wants it. The scoring system is broken, the last boss fight has safe spots that make it a joke, and there is no green helicopter ship.

You can get it upgraded to ver 1.5, but it'll cost you around $300 when it's all said and done. You'll have to send it to a Japanese PCB shop like Tops, who can act as a middleman (though they'll charge a small fee). Cave charges a flat 22,000 yen for any upgrade/fix. In the end you'll end up paying more than if you just got ver 1.5 in the first place. :?

this 1.0 version is not so bad
scoring's not the most important thing for the moment, helico the same
when i feel the game boring I will fix it for try the upgrade version and play it seriously
for the moment and for this price it's pretty acceptable
all what I wanted is to have a new fresh game for a good price ; )

tug : the db9 is a physic handicap on first mushi version but nothing else wrong with it.
like you can see on this pic there is a 2nd default on this pcb which is the construction of the tower, on next ''generation'' sh3 pcbs (and final revision of mushi) this tower is more compact and protected by a plastic round, so I hope if Cave make fix for mushi now a day they will change those two details
(I don't think it would be difficult to replace and take off those 2 pieces for the price of the soft upgrade)

They definitely won't change anything on the PCB. They only update the ROM (and it's perfectly fine to have the bug-fixed rom on the first gen Mushi PCB hardware - I've had one like that myself in the past). The "final" revision of Mushi hardware you speak of does NOT have the bug-fixed ROM, by the way (and it's actually more unstable than the first gen - Ultra mode can randomly disappear on it).

ok, so I will no worrie about those details
thanks for your explications
the best thing to do is to send the dfk and the mushi in one package to fix the twice
but for the moment I will wait a little and play like that some weeks with my new dfk :-)

I readed an article about the first dfk ver1.0
a player explosed the scoring system and cave decided to revise the game,
and that's why the 1,5 rev have a stronger scoring system which can support more points ..

but seriously, for explose the scoring system and make a bug, we must be some very experimented gamer but for a beginner like me it will be impossible to make the same before 1 year every days gaming
so, I think it woulden't be an handicap for me to play and train on this first version
I can have more experience on it and like I told upper I can fix it when I feel it boring..

Unlocking the B ship in 1.0 is:

Insert coin
Player 2: Hold down A, B & C
Player 1: Press D, A, D, C, B, D, Up, B, B, Left, Down, Right, C, D, B, A, Right, Right, A, D

STRONG STYLE (It combines features of Bomb and Power styles):

Insert a coin, hold ABD (not ABC!) on P2, then insert the following on P1:

B, C, B, A, D, down, up, A, A, D, D, C, C, B, B, left, left, A, right, left, left, left

If successful, you'll hear the announcer girl say something.
