Free Street Fighter marquee designs
I made these some time ago and figured I'd share them for anyone that's interested. They're for Blasts, Naomis and Net City cabs.
SSF2X with original colour scheme Guile:
SSF2X with an edited blue colour scheme Guile as that is his default colour in the game:
And 3rd Strike with Yun and Yang:
Here's the link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1bqN ... GhjNWxhU28
I have no experience in printing marquees so let me know if something's off.

The SFIIX logo above was done by me, btw.

Hmm? I got it from the official flyer.Lee wrote:The SFIIX logo above was done by me, btw.
EDIT: OK, reverse image search found a file that has your name in the filename.

The biggest giveaway is Grand Master Challenge. I didn't get it quite right. It's too thick, notably in letters like a e. There are other mistakes encoded in it so I can tell the difference.LEGENOARYNINLIA wrote:Hmm? I got it from the official flyer.Lee wrote:The SFIIX logo above was done by me, btw.

Well, since someone sent it to me as the official flyer and I didn't notice anything I'd say you did a top notch job!

That's cool. Thanks. I did the rest of the SFII series as well (just for fun, really), but my sources were all pretty poor for copying so they're not as good as they could be. I'd love another crack at doing them and that's why I joined, to see if anyone had things they could scan.

Re: Free Street Fighter marquee designs
Ok, well um, if anyone's interested, there's some logos here (The Street Fighter ones are further down the page, the rest are mostly console games) but that's basically all I do and it's not full marquess or anything.
There also used to be vector downloads to go with them.. I thought they would have been helpful for emulation fans, etc, but someone started selling them on tshirts and the same time claiming they made them so I took away the downloads and it's basically a bit useless right now.. But I'll figure out another way to share them if someone actually wants something.

Good stuff! I made do with the polygonal lasso tool and some filtering effects instead of using your vector file.

Impressive stuff, I've been through the same as you with a set of aero city decorations I made in corel draw some time ago.
But then I thought that damage was already done and maybe someone with good intentions may make good use of my work and that I made it for fun and to learn so in the end I did not care much about it.
Aero city art was my first and last contact with vectors, I should take some time and learn illustrator, but I have a thing with adobre software, I find them way too difficult and non-intuitive.

I might have seen what you did!, possibly Hyperspin had a collection of vectored cabinet art. I was looking for control panel art to use with NewRetroArcade (VR).arcadista wrote: Aero city art was my first and last contact with vectors, I should take some time and learn illustrator, but I have a thing with adobre software, I find them way too difficult and non-intuitive.
Haven't used Corel Draw but depending on what you're wanting to do, it might be all you need. I actually wonder what designers used back in the day.

Inkscape is great. Way easier to use than Illustrator.
