Good ol' Cisco
I try and find a box of a suitable size for each board (i've amassed a ton of different sizes over the years as I hate throwing good boxes away!
) and then use the anti static foam from Cisco stuff that gets delivered to my workplace. The foam is just the right depth ( ~ 20mm ) to mean that I can leave the plastic mounting feet on the boards, and still have them laid horizontally with support in the middle so they don't bow.

This week my collegues got around 20 new motherboards. Guess who had antistatic bags?

Damn you!
All we get is smaller components...no anti static bags big enough to fit a pcb into
Still, can't complain, foam is better than nowt

Like that. Multiply that rack by 6.
Do not trust the plastic rack load limits, I bought one of one type which still stands, and 3 of another type (pictured) which all started to twist and lean, and have been replaced with steel ones. Each box contains 1 or more PCBs in antistatic bubble bags, on their side. The number is determined by how many I can fit in there to give a "nearly perfect" fill. Too tight will put pressure on them, too much space and they will lean on each other in the box which is bad. Just right and they just sit there with all the weight on the lower edge. Some giant oversized flat ones (no feet fitted) stored on top, Battle Shark for example.
Worth repeating here - never store PCBs flat, even boxed, if there are feet attached or multiple layers (small ROM boards are fine), those should always be stored on their side.

They look good, will you make labels up? I plan to print some labels off for mine when I get a colour printer.

I'm quite new to arcade collecting and didn't realise this! so thank you. I use the anti-static boxes with 'spiky' pink foam inside so was worried the foam could somehow pull on the PCB components if I kept them on their side. But thinking about it pressure on the top or bottom plane on a multi-layer board could be worse now you mention it. (since the foam does support under the board)

Built a custom cabinet, to store my PCBs in, this picture is 5 years old, so it's full now, and then some!

Shou wrote:Like this. Boards are wrapped in arcade PCB specific anti-static bubblewrap in such a way that there is a pocket for holding docs and easy access to the edge connector for testing. Most Japanese PCB shops wrap in this method as well. Boards are put on the shelf in vertical
**** that's crazy. . Bubble wrap must of cost a fortune

Shops wrap them up that way when you buy them. I can never work out how to re-wrap them the way they were, it's very carefully done with flaps cut and so on

The japanese wrapping is always so neat it makes me feel inadequate. Wonder if this is taught in schools.
That cupboard is neat, too.
