any info about that?
Not a detective, but the voice on the video sounds a bit like it could be from Finland/Norway - from that information it doesn't take Einstein to work out the rest..Dexa wrote:just saw this on youtube:

This content is only possessed by a few small groups which is the reason you haven't heard about it.Dexa wrote:just saw this on youtube:

I posted more information in the assemblergames thread. Since here threads get randomly deleted for 'piracy' when it doesn't suit the moderators views such as my Namco System 369 research.pulstarx wrote:Will you document how Fast I/O works publicly?
Does it only use the physical connector or is it Ethernet based? Lowlevel? UDP?
Well Fast I/O uses RJ45 cable, not sure about the pinning of the cable. I am packing my apartment this month and moving the next so I don't have time to write and document everything yet sadlypulstarx wrote:Hmm, I didn't find any in depth information in your post history there.
I'm working on a device with JVS/USB support and I'm thinking about adding Fast I/O too. Hence I ask. Knowing if it's just something Ethernet based would be enough for now as the PHY is already on it
No cabinet uses this I/O almost, why do you want to add supportpulstarx wrote:Never mind, I checked the picture of the PCB and it's not Ethernet it seems it's something LVDS based (ds90lv019).
What are you talking about shou? I emulate 2 different HARDWARE devices, that's a hack and not emu?Shou wrote:Not emulated, hacked.
I have the latest build, all games and hardware for Nesica including the server, router and client.

The problem with this is that you cannot just hook the hdd and copy like the usual guys. It has encrypted game images, Nesica Client that games check for (Client checks for server and gets decrypt key for images from server), dongle that decrypts game files on the fly, new I/O board and new RFID reader. And most of all, nothing works without connection to Taito servers (Nesica Server contacts to Taito servers). Boomcools wrote:Ahh, the usual chain of events.
