New London Arcade - VEGA

Based in the basement of Vegas at Angel, they are focussing on bemani, but they tell me that they have the following currently:

"Street Fighter, Tetris, BlazBlue and a retro cab! More on the way too!"

Right next to my work. :awe:

Sounds good, I'll make a mental note of this. Unfortunately I don't go into town that much these days though. :(

After a day out yesterday where my gf & I went to the County Hall Namco & played some Mario GP and Outrun 2 then had a visit to The Dungeons we walked up to Vegas & had a look around in the basement I see they have Xbox 360's in the old VF5 Lindbergh cabs from Troc aswell as the SF4 cabs running the games via timer for 15mins for .50p with this panel:

Although they did have some "2015 Pump it up" dance game with a crowd all in all good stuff.

Despite working right next door, I still haven't been in yet myself. Consoles on timers is not a good sign, is completely illegal and is really, really lame.

Not convinced it has anything to do with Family Leisure any more.

Home software is licensed for home use only, not for public performance unless being used for demonstration purposes. The same sort of rules apply to videos and dvds, rental shops had to pay a lot more for their commercially rentable copies.

It's written on every Playstation title.

From the CP alone it looks like a place I don't want to be at.

VEGA London is based in the basement of VEGAS in Angel Islington, the place you're talking about is also based in a basement but in a venue called Las Vegas Arcade Soho, in PIccadilly Circus just outside of China Town.
