Yeah, it was pretty decent on the SNES. It was a much more complete game compared to the arcade. The arcade felt very simple and watered down in comparison. Capcom's home conversions on the other hand were massively inferior. Konami were on fire on the home consoles in the late 80's/early 90's...what the hell happened to them?

Compared to Streets of Rage 2 on Megadrive it's faster and more fluid. It has much more intense action. I played it yesterday right after playing SoR2 just to compare. It has the fast arcade gameplay feeling.

I do like the beat up genre but im not as good at them as I am shooters so I get a bit frustrated with them

I like TMNT , played this for about 6 months trying to 1cc this but the rank is crazy hard , I got to shredder once on 1 credit In all that time, had to give up eventually, shame

Also AvP , again just cant progress .. I got as far as the alien queen but again gave up after 3 months

I'm not ecstatic about beatemups. Just a bit slow and I don't find much satisfaction returning to them. TMNT was a laugh with a mate, once.

I quite liked Kung Fu Master though. You still just plod along in it but it felt a bit more responsive and satisfying to me.
