They'll be pricey and I doubt I'd ever use it but I want one.

Re: Sanwa Briar Wood Balltops
I'm not sure I see the point to this, especially the ones that are just painted over in the end.
If I wanted a wooden ball top, it would just be sanded smooth with no paint or finishings.

It's just a nice feeling to know that people have worked so hard on your balls.

Re: Sanwa Briar Wood Balltops
Where's the wooden buttons to go with them?
The video was a bit confusing as it went from smooth balls, to knobbly ones, then back to smooth.
I think they should do some limited edition wrinkly balls.*

Why, are you secretly a ball-waxing machine?

You can buy 35mm Beech balls here at wooden-balls for 51p each, less if you buy in bulk:

I guess you could drill it out, glue in a threaded insert to suit, then give it a few coats of whatever you fancy and even wax it by hand or with a ball-waxing machine if you could be bothered.
Briar has a slightly higher density than Beech but I doubt you'd notice the difference in a 35mm sphere.

Re: Sanwa Briar Wood Balltops
I was trying to suppress the gag reflex. But it's impossible in here. Balls at the tip of every tongue.
In seriousness, I don't actually know how one would communicate arrangements for a balltop group order without spilling innuendo everywhere. What could you say?

Re: Sanwa Briar Wood Balltops
I don't know if it would even be entirely possible. At the very least it would most certainly be a ball order.
