Jackie Chan the Kung Fu Master converted to Fists of Fire?

I have recently bought Jackie Chan The Kung Fu Master PCB. Then I came into thoughts about if it was possible to make a Fists of Fire conversion? The PCB's looks like the same two boards except that Fists of Fire is an updated version with more dept and gameplay. It has been impossible to find Fists of Fire anywhere in the world! I went out and bought The Kung Fu Master instead, but it's just not that satisfying to play when what I really want is the updated version.

So is this possible do you think? In theory you might take the MAME roms and update the original Kung Fu Master right? Can't find any information about people who have done this ever?

Yes, just burn the different ROMs and swap them.

Yes a friend of mine did it for me and it works like a charm
