Marvel vs. Capcom 2, but I'm a sucker for how corny the music is.

Re: Best Attract mode?
For me it's :
- Dimahoo - 1st place, no contest, it can catch your eye from the other side of a crowded room
- Blazing Stars - Very dynamic, and lots of effort for presenting the characters & the ships
- Metal Slug - Short & simple, but I like the way it focuses on presenting the legendary tank

Star Gladiator 2 has to be up there in my top ten favourites. Perfect intro, great use of music and the demo fights really makes you want to go back and play one more credit.

I am partial to the Marvel vs Streetfighter attract, mainly due to the cheesy announcer

These two are clearly among my favorites. This and Great Mahou Daisakusen/Dimahoo.TheRedKnight wrote:Ah, and who can forget the part in Garou Densetsu 3's intro where the narrator says "...LONE WOLVES ARE BACK!"Kretinou wrote:

I've just left Kirby Super Deluxe running on the Super Famicom. It might not be an arcade game but It has one of the best attracts ever.

Re: Best Attract mode?
Fun thread!
I’m a massive Neo Geo shill…
Blazing Star
Mark of the Wolves (it’s a long one )
Kraut Buster (NG Dev 2018 release)
Cyvern
(Oddly, this one is so much more impressive and impactful on a CRT cab with the volume up)
Demon Front

Re: Best Attract mode?
I hadn't witnessed Dimahoo's until firing it up on Mister last year. It's about as in your face as it gets
Loads of NeoGeo attracts are great, like Pulstar, but unfortunately have a very short loop, like Pulstar.

As good as it is I can't agree with Metal Slug. Ten Wilhelm screams per minute on an endless cycle.

Re: Best Attract mode?
I've been doing that with the first Tekken and Tobal No.1 on the PS1. Sometimes with VF3tb running on the Blast City at the same time. I guess I'm more into grunting and panting rather than hearing a constant barrage of special move names.
It's rather sad how some PS4 fighting games just stay in the "press any button" screen forever.
