If 90 is a bit much you can deactivate games and effectively make it a 6, 8, or whatever slot, is that right?

And the attract is triggered to cycle after one loop in the same way the multi slots do it? I didn't realise the Chinese cart roms loaded quickly enough to do this.

It is pretty crazy that the banana carts have everything stored and available for immediate access!

Not sure, but you do not need to press select like on a real multi slot to scroll through games you can press 2 buttons and scroll through the menu of games and choose, the game starts instantly no loading at all.

Sounds like I am promoting this but just saying it’s a bargain and 90 Neo games in attract mode is pretty cool. :D

Thanks. I've been reading Razoola's threads about it. While in attract games are switched exactly as the multislots do it by a trigger after the scoreboard screen. Seems that you can use either A/B or the MVS select buttons to change games depending on whether you hold start or select at startup. All sounds perfect. :awe:

For me, the best attract modes are those of Virtua Fighter 4 Final Tunned, which looks glorious on a Toshiba Perect Flat and Mortal Kombat 1, which brings back a lot of nostalgia.
Honorable mention: Marvel Superheroes vs Street Fighter for the cool anouncer that hypes the game

The question should be "Why is Soul Edge's Attract Mode the Best?"

I need to get this off my khest. Last Bronx is the only game in my collection where I keep the demo sound off.

While Sega's AM2 knew what they were doing with attract modes, AM3 dropped the ball with Last Bronx. The game loads up stages and characters in the background during the attract mode, and the stage music only starts as the characters demonstrate the action. BUT! A big big but indeed... the game starts playing the stage background noise track as soon as the Sega logo appears on a white background, and during the title screen where the announcer states the title out loud, before the demo action starts. If the game loads a stage with heavy rain, it basically means you have to listen to almost 10 seconds of what can be described as white noise. Simply can't get used to it.

Been moving recently and came across an old timer socket. I heaved a woody up to the bedroom and set it to power on to World Warrior at 6AM. Classic attract. Hard to think of a better alarm.

Aye, there's nothing like some surprise aural action from an old timer woody to get you going in the morning :fastlove:

Great idea for an alarm clock though. :awe: Couple of cheeky credits before you have a **** shower **** in the shower :thumbupright:

Worlds smallest alarm clock, lol.

Nothing pulls my nostalgia string harder than the original World Warrior intro tune.

I had that dee-doo-dee-dee part from the KOF'98 intro as a ringtone back in the day, and "Cosmic Desert" from Tobal No.1 as my alarm. In the end neither did the games any favours.

Time to go full Metal Slug, Joe, as nothing will save that intro anyway.
