I find it rather difficult to find much info on this game. At least in terms of the Arcade version. Maybe it's just my lack of knowledge on the ringedge series itself that's confusing me. I think if I were to ever put this in a cab I'd be ok with settling on a pad hack. I gotta say I really would love to play the arcade version of this, but doubt many will make it to the US, not to mention over to the east coast

We'll probably have more info on the game itself next week as the Japan release is scheduled for february 20.

But with this permanent connection ****, I doubt the game will make it outside of Japan.

It's a shame, the owner of my local arcade is ready to put the money on the table but Sega just won't let him buy it.

Sega amusement side in usa closed last year. So only uk side left to cover stateside releases and apart from transformers, no ring games planned outside of Asia.

So I played a Ringedge game at the arcade in Akihabara, Shining Force Cross (some random string of characters). I wish I could own that game. An arcade action rpg with persistant characters via cards? Do want (English would be even better). Looks like the All.Net thing shuts down the whole buying arcade games 2nd hand though.

Has there been any fixes/bypasses on that?

The graphic style of this new GG is exactly what I'd like to see out of future Capcom fighters. MvC3 style depresses me...
