Re: 'By the way, love' stories
Yeah, it's surprising how much the topic comes up, but I'm always telling people to buy Henry. We previously had several stupid big yellow hoovers, but there's a reason all cleaning companies (and most other companies too) use Henry. Less than £100 too.

Yep, he's a stalwart and a bargain. Great for carting up stairs and stuff too

Didn't Chappy have a garage full of secret cabs at one point too?

It was only 2

Mrs. gabe was...delighted to come home from work and find five new CRT's waiting for her in the dining room.
The marriage was narrowly saved by quickly selling three of them, and moving the remaining two down to the basement.

What kind of woman doesn't appreciate PVMs? My fiancee has loved me even more ever since I brought one home.

Re: 'By the way, love' stories
I'm lucky that my girlfriend notices nothing. After my first Naomi I got a second one but brought it from my mum's garage to the house bit by bit and stacked it rather than build it. I told/tell her that people are giving bits away and I'm lucky to get them. I thought I'd been caught when I had the monitor on the dining room table and she walked in, I thought here we go I've been rumbled. She said 'is that from that there' pointing to the assembled Naomi which had a monitor already in it. I said 'yeah I'm just cleaning it' and she bought it
Have to say though we have a large lcd and surround sound and she chooses to watch Lost through crap headphones on a 7inch portable dvd player so this sort of stuff just doesn't get her attention. The second Naomi is now assembled as I said it would take up less space than having everything loose. Now whilst I love her naivety the point will come where she wants one gone

Ahaha! You crept it in bit by bit. So sneaky. That's a classic. Well played Sir.

"Well, as it's in now I might as well finish it off. Less messy this way. You just watch Lost"
...
The gradual deviousness kind of reminds me of 'The Twits'. Mr Twit gradually adjusts the furniture every day for a Month without Mrs Twit noticing. In a few years you could sneak in a whole arcade. ..."What? Oh don't be such a silly, the dining room's always been like that, remember?"
I also love the thought that she may know damn well that the Naomi has moved in from your Mum's garage, and she's just rolling her eyes and letting you get on with the whole charade.

Re: 'By the way, love' stories
Even my mum noticed THE new game we sneaked in - just by seeing the screen [not the box]. ....
Those games all looked so very much alike - no idea how she did that.
She didn't watched us playing. but when she entered the room, she immediatly knew we had a new game....

Spent days splinter cell style sneaking parts in and paying for petrol to and from my mum's and she may have known??...I've never thought of that
As for all this backdoor action talk, I'm not sure lost would be a big enough distraction
