Easiest/hardest games to 1cc?

although, bullet soul makes deathsmiles look like DOJ...

I literally made it to level four without looking at the screen.

I'd say the easiest arcade 1CCs are Mega Man: The Power Battle, Golden Axe and Strider.

Not sure what would be the hardest. Crossed Swords does spring to mind though. If someone can play all the way through without continuing that would be an incredible gaming feat.

Give it another try some time Kernow. I'm sure it wouldn't take you long to get the 1CC.

It's fairly easy to earn extra lives and you can take quite a bit of damage once you've fully extended your lifebar. The part with the bombs dropping at the end of stage 2 can be a bit frustrating at times but I'd say the only challenging part of the game is the final stage. It doesn't take long to memorize though and getting there with at least one droid makes it significantly easier.

Metal Slug is pretty hard for me especially that final stage. I still go through a lot of credits in that game.

Bullet Soul isn't an arcade game though. I think that's the biggest flaw in that game's design, if it was an arcade release, it would had to be harder.

2nd form, **** hell I've come within a millimetre of beating him, such a cheesy ****.

Bullet Soul isn't an arcade game though. I think that's the biggest flaw in that game's design, if it was an arcade release, it would had to be harder.

I actually like the graphical style in it, the easy difficulty is what ruined it for me.

I'm sure it would've made a great arcade title though!

True, I can beat his first form with no problems most of the time but like you said his 2nd form is cheap as hell. Not impossible but cheap

Deathsmiles is a piece of ****, and I'm terrible at shooters. Metal Slug 3 is super balls hard for me, that last stage can go to hell

Super Street Fighter 2 is the easiest of all the SF IMO. SFA / Zero is really easy too.

Now there's a tough game! I've I've 1cc'd it 5 times with Haggar in the last year and a bit. The enemy behaviour is so random at times, a strategy in one game won't work on the next... It's so frustrating.

Ps: I did it on the world/USA revision dip defaults which gives you 4 extra lives with score landmarks. Not the Japanese version that only gives you a measly 1-extra life :/
